Hello North Surrey Friends and Family,

Former NSMF Flag, Atom and Peewee players, twins Aiden and Davin Reithaug, and Gino Busciano, former player and coach at North Surrey have moved to Vancouver Island and are now involved with Cowichan Valley Football Association. Their new football home is trying to win the $50,000 SimpleGenerosity Grant from Island Savings. We are hoping to buy new jerseys, upgrade equipment and improve the facility.

Brandon Nestor Balloon Release

Brandon NestorIt is with a heavy heart that we report that former NSMF T-Bird, Hawk and Eagle, Brandon Nestor passed away on the February 25, 2017 from a head injury after he collapsed in his home on February 11. Pictured here with his daughter, Ciarra, Brandon was only 22 when he passed. His whole family was involved at North Surrey with his step-dad, Darren, as a coach, his mom, Kelley coached cheer and his sister, Tiffany, was a cheerleader.

Brandon loved his 6 years playing for North Surrey so as a tribute to Brandon, his family will be having a balloon release at Bear Creek Park to celebrate his life as a player and one of his passions.

The balloon release will be held on April 29 2017, at 2:00 pm. Please come out to show your NS respect for one of our own.
