Slotback
Linebacker
Kicker
Greg returns for his second year of football after representing
Canada in the World Little League Championships. After an
impressive first season with the Falcons he continuee where
he left off by kicking a 22 yard field goal to open the season
scoring for the Falcons. Week 3 Greg manage yet another field
goal and this time from a distance of 27 yards.
In week five he earned a CRUNCH
bar for his fourth quarter performance at outside linebacker
and then in week six Greg earned another CRUNCH
bar for his backup role on kick return where he took
the ball on the reverse all the way back for the touchdown.
Week eight in a tough game with the Roughriders, Greg earned another CRUNCH bar but this time it was for a great block that helped the Falcons score a major.

#5 Ross S.
Wideout
Quarterback
Ross returns for another year of ball at Bear Creek and he
hopes to top his last years success at wideout where he caught
several long balls for touchdowns. Ross has started out the
year at quarterback due injuries where he will see some action
in the first few games. Ross got one of the first CRUNCH
bars for an outstanding touchdown saving tackle on a turn
over play.
In week two he threw his first td pass of the year to Austin
for a combined 20 yard play against Aldergrove and then in
week four through another td pass. In week four as well Ross
received a CRUNCH bar award
for his outstanding job at pulling down snaps on the convert
attempts.

#6 Willy D.
Corner
Willy is another one of our seniors this year who will return
to the defensive side of the ball where he hopes to continue
his solid effort from last year at corner.
As well Willy has seen some action on the kickoff team and continues to perform where his roles have been expanded.

#8 Jason N.
Defensive Tackle
Jason is in his first year of football and is fast learning
the game while consistantly making tackles every game. As
a junior on the team he is learning the game at a very fast
rate and will prove to be a solid starter next year.
Week eight in a hard matched battle with the Coquitlam Raiders
Jason proved that he can handle the heat by stuffing all his
assigned gaps. With a fantastic job done on the day Jason
earned himself the MR BIG
bar award that week for the lineman position.

Vik S.
Slotback
Vik continues to show his shifty moves up the middle each
game gaining some large chunks of yardage. Although he hasn't
made it in the end zone yet this year it is just a matter
of time. In week four Vik through not one but two perfect
passes out of the tailback option position and both went for
touchdowns.
Week five proved to be Vik's break out week where he was
used heavily in the running game and managed not one but two
touchdowns on the day to take home the MR
BIG bar award for offensive player of the game.

Kalvir D.
Corner
Outside Linebacker
Kalvir moved up from the Hawks this year and is getting his
first taste of Junior Bantam action. In the Aldergrove game
he has proven his value by making some excellent tackles from
the Corner position.

Anthony W.
Safety
Corner
Outside Linebacker
Anthony is another player that moved up from the Hawks and
is his first year of Junior Bantam. With his athletic abilities
Anthony is playing mostly safety but has also filled in other
defensive roles as well as backup kicker where he made all
four convert attempts in week two. In week four Anthony got
his first fumble recovery of the year that helped stop a South
Delta scoring drive.
In week seven in Richmond Anthony picked of a pass attempt
and ran back a good 20 yards to earn a CRUNCH
bar on the day. Week eight Anthony again stepped up with some
great defensive tackles and plays against a hard hitting Coqutilam
Raider team. His terrific play earned him the
MR BIG bar award for the day

Defensive End
Corner
Ross earned one of the first MR
BIG bar of the year when in the first game against
the Cloverdale Cougars he managed to get two sacks in the
back field during key points in the game. Now that he's earned
himself a starting role we expect to see more accomplishments
in the near future.

Jivon C.
Slotback
Jivon returns to the Falcons for another year of junior bantam
action but this year he's been moved over to the offensive
side where his speed and agility are being used at slotback.
After missing much of the pre-season as well as week one action
it didn't take long for him to get on the scoreboard where
he ran a nice play against Aldergrove in week two for his
first touchdown of the year.
Week four Jivon received the MR
BIG bar award for offensive player of the game by hauling
in two long touchdown passes off the tailback option play.

De'Ondre B.
Slotback
De'Ondre is playing his first year at Junior Bantam and was
moved over to the offense after pre-season where his speed
and ability could be used more. In week two 'Dee' scored his
first touchdown against Aldergrove.

Derek C.
Outside Linebacker
Corner
Derek returns for another year with the Falcons and has been
promoted to linebacker where his keen sense of the play will
benefit him the most. Consistantly one of our top tacklers
Derek also got a chance to play a little fullback week 2.

Quarterback
Returning for another year of Junior Bantam, Jason has switched
over to the offense and taken on the role of quarterback.
Things looked good until some pre-season action saw Jason
get sidelined with a minor injury. Soon to be back where he
will see his first real action at the quarterback position.
After getting some action in week five his next week only
strengthened his quarterback ability where we watched Jason
run the bootleg and reach in for the touchdown to earn the
fourth quarter CRUNCH bar
award.
Jason got to play some defensive line action later in the season and in week eight earned a MR BIG bar award for lineman of the game against the Roughriders.

Jack M.
Safety
As one of our smartest and most experienced players Jack
returns for another year on the defense where hes making some
big game saving tackles and providing great pass coverage
this year.
As well as safety Jack sees the field on special teams on
both kickoff and kick return. In week two Jack recovered a
loose ball on kick off to help the Falcons secure the game.
In week three Jack played his best game to date where he
picked of a Viking pass for the interception as well as ran
a punt back 40 yards for the touchdown earing him a MR
BIG bar award. Later in week four Jack won another
MR BIG bar award for turning
his game around and making some big defensive plays.
Week five Jack, who's gained a reputation and not a first
quarter player, changed this when he came up and made a BIG
hit and tackle in the first quarter of the game against Royal
City to earn his CRUNCH bar
on the day.

Nikko T.
Wideout
One of our first time players Nikko is fast learning the game and in week one he caught his first pass of the season for a
good gain and a first down. We expect to see much more as the season goes on.

Middle Linebacker
This newcomer to football made an impact from the first time
he stepped on the field. As one of the middle linebackers
he's consistantly one of the top tacklers on the team and
is usually seen in the opposing back field creating haveck.
In week two he lined up for some tight end action and caught
a pass for a 20 yard touchdown play.
In week three action Austin blocked a Viking punt attempt
to earn himself a CRUNCH bar
on the day. In week four in South Delta Austin not only played
outstanding in his linebacker role but also won a CRUNCH
bar for his second quarter touchdown reception.
Week seven it was Austin again earning a CRUNCH bar for pounding of the Richmond players and helping the defense achieve yet another shut out for the year.

Center
As a junior Eric has stepped up and performed well enough to start at center and earn himself a MR BIG bar for a great performance in week one against the Cougars.

Keith G.
Middle Linebacker
This long time player has moved up to the linebacker postion
this year and has taken on the role of defensive captain.
Consistantly one of the top tacklers on the team he's also
seeing a little action at running back where week two he got
several carries for good yardage.
Week four his team high four tackles on the day including
one CRUNCHING sack on the quarterback earned Keith his first
CRUNCH bar award of the year.
In front of his home crowd Keith earned his first MR
BIG bar award for a top performance against Royal City
where he led the team in tackles. Continuing the trend the
next week his nine tackle performance and domination over
North Delta's backs couldn't go unnoticed and he earned himself
yet another MR BIG bar award
for defensive player of the game.
When the games are close it is expected that your top players step up and make the big plays. Week eight Keith arose to the occasion where in the first quarter he hit the quarterback to cause a fumble resulting in a Falcon touchdown. Later in the fourth he laid out a Roughrider on offense that also allowed for a touchdown to earn two CRUNCH bars on the day.

Offensive Line
Defensive Tackle
A newcomer to football he's learning to plug the holes in his defensive tackle position. In week two
Cody got his first fumble recovery to help the team pull out a victory. Later in the season we moved Cody over to the offensive line were he showed much more potential and is working on a starting positition.

Amrit R.
Defensive Tackle
Amrit is new as well and has seen himself in several spots
on the defensive line. He is consistant and is fast learning
what is needed to play on the defensive line.
Picking things up fast he made a nice sandwich tackle against
the Vikings to earn his first CRUNCH
bar award. In week seven it was Amret who jumped on a lose ball in the Richmond end zone to grab a Falcon touchdown and earn another CRUNCH bar award for the year.

Chris is one of the many new faces to football on the offensive line. He is fast proving that
he has something to offer and is eagarly wanting to learn.

Offensive Tackle
Baljit, one of the many new players this year is working hard to gain himself a starting spot. Learning
fast it won't be long before he's getting plenty of action on game day.

Offensive Guard
Erick returns for another year of football and is the most
experienced linesmen we have. As well as making big holes
for the backs he can be found on special teams where in week
two earned himself a CRUNCH
bar for a huge block on kick return.
Later in week three Erick racked up a MR
BIG bar award for his his terrific offensive line performance
against the Vikings.

Offensive Guard
Playing more on the offense this year Saheel is providing
some big blocks on the o-line while getting some action on
defense at tackle. In week six Saheel got a lot of playing
time at defensive tackle where he was used heavily to stop
the big inside rush of the North Delta offense.

Sukhtaj K.
Defensive Tackle
Offensive Tackle
Part of the rookie Junior Bantam squad, Sukhtaj is already
seeing lots of game time and will continue to develop through
out the year. Moving over from the o-line to defensive tackle
his first test was week five against Royal City where he managed
two tackles and both stuffed the back at the line of scrimmage.
This earned him the MR BIG
bar award for lineman of the day.

Deepack S.
Defensive End
Moving up from the Hawks Deepack proved he's ready for J.B.
action and secured himself a starting position at defensive
end where his speed is a great weapon. Making several changes
to his stance and game plans things finally paid off for Deepack
where in week five he smoked the quarterback to earn his first
CRUNCH bar award.
In week six he made two very important tackles behind the
line of scrimmage to get the MR BIG
bar award for lineman of the game.

Defensive Tackle
James is a long time Surrey player that returns for another year with the Falcons
Playing in various positions on the defensive line James has made an impact early by
jumping on a loose ball in the first game against Cloverdale which earned him a CRUNCH bar award.

Corner
'Rekee' is new to football and came out
a little late to our camp. He's trying to learn the game fast
and hopes to fill in a role at corner.

Offensive Guard
Center
Andy in his first year of Junior Bantam has landed himself
a starting role on the line and is also doing some backup
work at Center. In week two he won the MR
BIG bar award for his good work making holes for our
backs against Aldergrove.
In week four down in South Delta Andy received yet another
MR BIG bar award for another
great day of blocking.

Tailback
Safety
His versitility allows us to play him in many positions on
defense and in particular at Safety. Tearing up the field
in his mad man running style Devon earned his first MR
BIG bar award in game one for a two touchdown performance
from the tailback position. Not to stop there he won a CRUNCH
bar in week two for just one of many great tackles on the
day.
Never stopping on defense Devon not only ran for two majors
but set up a good block for the punt return as well as recoverd
a fumble to earn yet another CRUNCH
bar award. Week four Devon ran for another two touchdowns
and had well over 150 yards in total rushing against South
Delta.
Week eight was the Devon T. day as he scouped all three Falcon majors on the day including one by recovering a fumble, one by interception and the last by running in a 50 yard touchdown to give him the MR BIG bar award for defense.

Corner
Blake made an instant impression in his first few practices
and showed despite never playing the game before was able
to tackle the biggest of players. He showed week one that
not only could he make great saving tackles at corner but
could also run back punts.
Blake continues to improve each week and has shown great
tackling ability and on week three he earned his first CRUNCH
bar award for a nice combination tackle with Amrit that brought
down a Viking ball carrier fast.

Parm D.
Fullback
Having made impacts at the lower levels including Peewee
last year it was expected that Parm would continue that trend.
In week two Parm earned himself the offensive MR
BIG bar award for his huge day running as well as his
first Junior Bantam touchdown of the year.
Week three against the Vikings Parm earned his
CRUNCH bar award for his success at pounding the ball
up the middle on his full back dive plays. Parm's next MR
BIG bar came in week six where he was used extensively
in driving the ball up the middle and did this with great
success.
Week eight we needed to pound the ball up the middle and Parm provided that nessesary yardage and the results was another MR BIG bar award.

Kris, another newbie to football, made some impressions for the coaches in pre-season where
he came up with some big blocks for the running backs. Kris continues to learn the game
and get better each week.

Moving from tackle last year to tight end this year has given
the offense the size they need for the outside running game.

Eric showed us in practice that he could be a good fit at
tight end on the Falcons. Each week he continues to improve
and will of value to the offense as the season moves on.
