BEARS WIN!!!!!!!!!!

Bears vs Cowichan 32-13

The North Surrey Bears defeated the Cowichan Bulldogs 32 - 13 in their first round play off game. QB Jordan Rana threw 3 TD passes. Seye Akinsanmi and Devon Tait each scored 2 touchdowns. Dyaln Easley had an interception. Derek Evans, Dylan Easley and Ross Whitelaw were the defensive players of the day.

Game 10 results: 10-21 (Bears Lose)

Bears vs White Rock

The Surrey Bears finished the regular season losing 21-10 to the White Rock Titans. Devon Tait scored the lone touchdown. Joanus Levac completed the scoring with the convert and one field goal.

The defence had a strong performance with Derek Evans, Deepak Sharma. Jason Buchamer had a quarterback sack and a fumble recovery.

Game 9 results: 48-0 (Bears Win)

Bears vs Burnaby Lions

The Bears travelled to Burnaby and defeated the Lions 48-0. Devon Tait, Seye Akinsanmi and Jeremy Reid each scored 2 touchdowns. Devoun Hallums ran for a 65 yard touchdown. Jordan Wicki and Seye each had an interception. Jonaus Levac kicked 6 converts. Top Lineman of the day were Brandon Vieira, Grant Anderson, Anthony Scardera, Derek Evans and Jason Buchamer.

Game 8 results: 28-0 (Bears Win)

Bears vs Cowichan

The Surrey Bears defeated the Cowichan Bulldogs 28-0. Darrian Fung led with 2 touchdowns and Devon Tait and Devoun Hallums had 1 each. Jonaus Levac kicked 5 converts. On defence, 4 players had a quarterback sack: Moninder Kalsi, Emmanuel Agbozo, Jason Buchamer, Deepak Sharma and Seye Akinsanmi. Jordan Wicki had the only interception of the day.

Game 7 results: 43-14 (Bears Win)

Bears vs North Delta

The Surrey Bears defeated the North Delta Longhorns 43-14. Darrian Fung led with 2 touchdowns. Devoun Hallums, Jeremy Reid, Devon Tait and Seye Akinsanmi all scored touchdowns. Jason Buchamer and Jordan Wicki each had a fumble recovery. Defensive standouts were Derek Evans, Emanuel Agbozo, Dylan Easley and Darren Da Silva.

Game 6 results: 18-18 (Bears Tie)

Bears vs Victoria

The Bears travelled to Victoria where they tied the Spartans 18-18. Darrian Fung and Devoun Hallums each scored a touchdown. Jonaus Levac kicked for 4 points and Jacob Reiter contributed a safety touch. On the defence side of the game, Derek Evans, Brandon Vieira, Deepak Sharma and keith Grant each had a quarterback sack.

Game 5 results: 49-0 (Bears Win)

Bears vs Richmond

The Bears defeated Richmond 49-0. Seye Akinsanmi & Damien Vieira each scored 2 touchdowns. Darrian Fung, Jeremy Reid and Devon Tait all had a touchdown as well. Jonaus Levac kicked 7 converts. Darrian Fung had 2 intercpetions with Seye Akinsanmi had 1. Deepak Sharma had 2 QB sacks. Keith Grant and Emmanuel Agbozo were the top tacklers of the day.

Game 4 results: 30-20 (Bears Lose)

Bears vs Coquitlam

The Surrey Bears spotted Coquitlam to a 23-0 lead, mounted a comeback but eventually lost 30-20. The offence was lead by Devin Tait's 2 touchdowns. One touchdown was on a screen pass, the other was on a 35 yard run. Seye Akinsanmi caught a 490 yard pass for a touchdown and had an interception. Darrian Fung had a quarterback sack.

Game 3 results: 13-11 (bears lose)

Bears vs Chilliwack

The bears travelled to Chilliwack and lost 13-11 on the last play of the game. Devon Tait scored the lone touchdown of the game and Jonaus Levac contributed 5 points including a 35 yard field goal. Strong performances on defence were contributed by Keith Grant, Dylan Easley and Darrian Fung, who also had an interception.

Game 2 results: 28-7 (bears win)

Bears vs Cloverdale Bengals:

The North Surrey Bears defeated the Cloverdale Bengals 28-7. The first touchdown of the day was a 60 yard pass run to Andy Sandhu. Darrian Fung then intercepted a pss for a 70 yard touchdown and the scoring was completed on a run by Jeremy Reid. Ross Whitelaw contributed an interception in the second half. Linebacker Keith Grant led the way on defence with several tackles.

Bears vs Meadow Ridge Knights :

The North Surrey Bears welcomed in the 2011 season with a 29-0 victory over the Meadow Ridge Knights. Jeremy Reid led the way with 3 rushing touchdowns and 5 single pints. Devon Tait added one rushing touchdown. Jordan Rana completed several passes including 2 esceptional catches by Andy Sandhu. The defensive team was led by the line backers Keith Grant, Dylan Easley and Emmanuel Agbozo. Darrian Fung and Fernando Ruiz each contributed an interception.
