The tentative schedule of play for Spring 2010 is:
You must make sure all players and staff can attend the June 12/13th weekend in order to register. VMFL Spring Flag Football will be set up in 3 divisions: U13, U15 & U18 (in alignment with Football Canada youth divisions) & all levels will play in a 5 on 5 format. Guidlines here provides an outline for the format that VMFL play will follow except regarding team size – 6 to 9 players) The Provincial U15 winning team will be provided with funding by Football Canada for 6 players, one coach & one manager for transportation, accommodations & food to the Canadian National U15 Championships at Carlton University in Ottawa, Ontario on August 20 – 22, 2010. (Our ’09 U15 team out of the Vancouver Westside finished in 2nd place at last yrs Nationals) Each Jamboree is planned to have the U13 division start at 9 am, U15 at 11:30 am & U18 at 2 pm. (But if significantly more teams sign up compared to ’09, the times will be modified) 4 games will be run simultaneously width-wise on a CFL size field.

Players Camps... 2010 Full Speed Football QB Academy Back for its third season, Full Speed Football Quarterback Academy consists of five sessions focusing on the fundamentals of playing one of the most physically and mentally challenging position in all sports.
Players Camps... UBC Best In The West Football Camp - July 9th - 11th This elite level football camp will give all players an early start to the fall season. Players will receive individual position specific coaching necessary for successful performance. This is a full equipment camp and campers must bring their own equipment. It is possible to rent equipment as supplies last. Campers will participate in 3 practices, 2 strength and conditioning sessions and an afternoon scrimmage. Practice jersey, awards, prizes and snacks will be provided. The UBC coaching staff will be joined by special guests to ensure the highest level of coaching is provided.
