VMFL In Brief Ken Henry, The
Province Rob Mountford tries his best to avoid the limelight, but we managed to track him down and salute him as our "Volunteer of the Week." Mountford, 62, has been involved with the North Surrey Minor Football Association for 31 years -- first as a coach from 1975 to '87, then as president for the past 18 years and counting. "Being president was just supposed to be a one-year thing," Mountford said with a laugh. "I enjoy it though. I just like seeing the little ones around the park."
